Pedro arrived home panting. He had just finished playing a long and tiring game of soccer with his best friend, Ulisis. Sweat was dripping from his face. He was so tired that he couldn't even speak. He let himself drop onto the sofa in front of the television set and turned it on with the remote control. Just as the TV came on, Pedro's mom arrived from the supermarket. "Pedro! I can't believe you are just sitting there watching TV," she said. "B..b..but I just finished...," Pedro stuttered.		"I don't want to hear any excuses, Son!" exclaimed his mother. "On your feet and out of this house. You shouldn't be wasting all your free time watching silly programs on TV like a lazy bum, you should be playing outside like the other healthy boys." "OK, Mom," Pedro muttered. He slowly picked himself up and walked to the door dragging his feet.
